Unfortunately people will also have to put up with the antics of the very unattractive Shaggy who is really not good for anything except eating and hanging out with the dog. Shaggy looks as though he could use a good bathe and a change of clothing. The producers really made a bad choice by having this character on the series.
For years Mr. Kasem did this voice and he was very good at this particular job. Casey also found himself doing the voice of Alexander Cabot on the Josie and the Pussycats series. Shaggy was very tall and not that muscular. He was not a ladies man at all.
Both girls on this series had reddish hair but people would look at Daphne more than Velma. Daphne was very pretty and she had the chance to be taken on almost every episode on this series. Decades later the producers decided not to make this girl into a damsel in distress.
Even though Daphne was only sixteen years old she was still traveling around with two young men and a male dog. This big dog was the star of this series and he really was not needed for anything at all. The lady named Velma solved mysteries quickly and sometimes she would lose her glasses.
The talented producers of Supernatural had the great idea to make their main characters of Dean and Sam visit Fred and his group. It was a very successful attempt and it really got viewers into deep discussions about this very creative idea.
