Have Fun And Be Productive At A Party For Paint And Drink Jersey Shore Bars And Taverns Throw

By Diane McDonald

When many people are thinking about something to do for the night, they often think about drinking and enjoying friends. This has been popular for a long time. One of the things that is getting more and more popular is an activity that encourages less drinking and more fun. This is, of course, the many places that offer the paint and drink Jersey Shore residents have found that are fun, creative and they can still get a drink or two.

Many of the same taverns, bars, and pubs will be the locations of these parties, so it will be fairly easy to find one. These classes run about two or three hours, so it is not a big piece of your night out and it could be the least expensive time you have spent away from home. It also will be the most creative.

You will see posters that are hanging on the walls of your favorite watering hole. These will indicate the presence of these classes and when and at what time. You might be able to notice a particular pattern of these parties. You will see they may be thrown on similar days each week or month. Many people schedule their month this way in order to show off to friends and neighbors what they have found just right down the street from their neighborhood.

Another important item might also be on the poster. This will be the availability of wines. The various selections may be included as well as the availability of any other harder drinks. You may also see a notice about soda and or beer in lieu of spirits.

What will be happening at this event is the important thing to most people. The attendees will be doing something they may have never done before. They are learning something they may have been afraid of. They will accomplish something that they have not thought about before.

The thing that is noticed is that everyone is painting the same picture. It will have been picked out by the hosting artist. This may be listed on that poster you saw, or it may be left as a surprise for the evening. It may come from any of a rather large grouping of genres. It could be surrealistic, portraiture, scenic representations or even darker material.

Classes are set up to run about the same way, each time. The members of this session will come in and look at the picture to be painted as it is displayed in front of the room. They will find an easel and place their canvass on the rail. They will listen to the artist discuss, briefly, the picture and how it came about.

The artist for the evening will show the image they have already painted, showing the members of the room what they did and how they did some things. The class will learn a slightly different brush stroke, new method of mixing paint or new way of seeing what is there. The professionals, who make their living by painting, will help those who need help so everyone can create something they would be able to hang up at home.
